The Civilian Conservation Corps was the predecessor of the Corporation for National and Community Service, which oversees Americorps, the Senior Corps and Learn and Serve America. The CCC was one of the New Deal programs that President Roosevelt implemented during the Great Depression. One of the other Corps members posted this video on Facebook a few weeks ago. If you have time I definitely recommend watching– it's really interesting!
